FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Initiate a pickup request by filling in your package and consignee details. You will have to pay for the shipping charges online to complete your request for this service. Once the payment is complete and the booking is successfully registered, we will align our field executives to pick up the parcel from your address as per the mentioned timings. In most cases, your parcel will be picked up on the same day or the next working day.

You do not have to manually arrange a pickup for your order. As soon as your order is successfully received, our team will align the field executives as per the mentioned timings.

Shipments booked after 12.30pm will only be attempted for pickup on the following business day.

In case you want the pickup to be done on a different time slot or day, you can email us on support_direct@delhivery.com and we will try to coordinate the same within the given timelines. Also, if your booked parcel weighs more than 9kg or is very bulky, please drop us a line on support_direct@delhivery.com along with your order number for reference. This will serve a pre-notification for us to ensure that the appropriate vehicle is aligned for this pickup.

Costs differ as per your origin address, destination address and weight of the parcel. You can check for prices above by entering these basic details before you proceed with the overall booking details.
Please use durable packaging material, taking extra precaution for valuable documents and fragile items so as to avoid damage to the inner contents. In case of damage caused to the parcel due to poor packaging, we will not be liable for compensation of such damages or loss. Also ensure not to include any secure documents including but not limited to passport, aadhar card, pan card, credit cards, etc to the package. DPL is not licensed to deliver the same.
Please email your order details to us on support_direct@delhivery.com. Your order can only be cancelled if the same is not already picked up.
The refund will be processed to your account within 15 working days. Thereafter, the same will reflect in your original mode of payment, as per the rules of the payment method you may have originally used.
Dangerous and prohibited goods cannot be moved via express mode of transport. The list of these goods is accessible in a disclaimer message that comes up when you choose express booking method. Further, shipments weighing more than 5kgs are not permitted for express transport and the dimensions constraints for the same is 50x50x50 [cm] In case, prohibited items or dangerous goods are identified as the contents in the package, DPL reserves the right to change the method of transportation, penalise the sender and / or damage the contents of the shipment.
Each order you book on our site will generate a single airway bill number and order ID. A single order ID is applicable to a single box / package / parcel only. Do not send two boxes or parcels under a single order ID as this might lead to loss or damage.
